60 MonthsBachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is the duration of 5 years, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. Offered by Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

Age Limit
- The student should have completed 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Eligibility
The student should have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
- Students belonging to a category other than SC / ST should have obtained 50 percent and above marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany / Zoology).
- Students belonging to SC / ST category should have obtained 40 percent marks in the above-mentioned subjects.
Admission Details
Admissions in BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)
