Sri Venkateshwaraa Arts and Science College, Dharmapuri, has been one of the Periyar University-affiliated colleges. It offers many undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Admission Process Degree wise

B.A.: The B.A. degree programs provide admission into two disciplines, namely, English and Tamil. Admission into the B.A. programs shall be made based on the 10 + 2 examination in languages with other general subjects.

B.Com: The B.Com course runs in two streams, namely General and Computer Application. The course preference is given to students from commerce backgrounds although students from all streams will be admitted on the basis of merit.

B.Sc.: Sri Venkateshwaraa Arts and Science College has six B.Sc programs. These are Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, and Physics. These degrees have an entry requirement of a good grounding in science subjects at 10+2 and specific subject requirements will vary with the area of specialization chosen.

M.A.: An M.A. in English is offered. Persons with a bachelor's degree in English or a related subject can apply. The basis of selection is the percentage secured in their qualifying degree.

M.Sc: Two MSc degrees are given in Mathematics and Chemistry. A candidate must possess a BSc in the relevant subject. The final admission decision depends on the performance of the candidate during undergraduate level.

M.Phil: M.Phil. programs in Chemistry and Mathematics are available in the college. Admission into research programs is granted on performance at the master's degree level followed by an interview; this may vary according to the candidates' performance.
