Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, Tiruchirappalli (SAASC Tiruchirappalli) is a world-class autonomous college with a highly diverse set of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. The college admission process is designed in a way that it selects high-merit candidates based on academic performance and potential capabilities.
The admission to SAASC Tiruchirappalli generally begins in the May-June months for the starting academic year in August-September. The college offers 50 courses in various disciplines, including 15 undergraduate courses, 23 postgraduate courses, 10 M.Phil. courses, and 12 Ph.D. courses.
For admission at the undergraduate level, the most important eligibility factor is passing 10+2 from a board. Academic performance of students in the past is also considered by the college for admission to undergraduate programs. Some courses may also have subject-specific requirements, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for science streams.

The application process of SAASC Tiruchirappalli is as follows:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc: SAASC Tiruchirappalli offers seven B.Sc courses like Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, and Visual Communication. The programs are offered on the basis of marks secured in 10+2 by the candidate, considering importance to science subjects.
B.Com: The college offers two B.Com courses, one dedicated to Bank Management. Admission is based on marks secured in 10+2 by the candidate, giving special consideration to students having a background in commerce.
BCA and BBA: These two courses recruit students on the basis of 10+2 marks, taking into consideration their aptitude in computer applications and business studies separately.
BA: SAASC Tiruchirappalli offers English Literature and Tamil Literature BA courses. Admission is made on the basis of candidate's 10+2 marks, with consideration for language ability and humanities.
M.Sc: Seven M.Sc courses, viz., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Chemistry, are offered by the college. The admission is subject to the undergraduate marks of the candidate in the concerned discipline and can be combined with an interview process.
M.Com: The admission to M.Com is done on the basis of the candidate's marks of B.Com or equivalent degree and can be coupled with an interview.
MA: The college offers MA in English, Sanskrit, and Tamil. Admission is based on the candidate's undergraduate marks in the respective discipline and can include an interview or entrance test.
M.Phil and Ph.D: Admission to research courses is based on postgraduate degree marks, written entrance test, and/or interview. The college offers M.Phil and Ph.D courses in most departments such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Sanskrit, Commerce, and more.
