SRK PG College, Firozabad Admission Process

SRK PG College, Firozabad, is an affiliated college offering a mixed bag of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college ensures that its admissions process is fair and transparent so that deserving candidates are chosen for various programmes. With many exceptions, admissions at SRK PG College are generally granted on the basis of merit. In most cases, admission is given according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. This means that the admission to the programs is open, depending upon the marks obtained in the previous degrees by the students whether it is 10+2 for undergraduates or the Bachelor's degree for postgraduates. The college has 14 programs to offer across seven degrees, with specializations mainly in the arts, commerce, education, and computer application streams. 

Application Process

1. Admission Announcement: The college usually announces the commencement of the admission process on its official website and through local media.

2. Application Submission: Applicants must fill out the application form, available either online on the college website or directly at the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Once duly completed, the application form is submitted together with the following necessary documents:

  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations
  • Character certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Recent passport-size photograph

4. Entrance Exam: Candidates for the B.Ed program might undertake an entrance examination as a part of the selection procedure.

5. Publication of Merit List: The college prepares and publishes merit lists based on defined criteria for each course.

6. Counseling and Admission: The shortlisted candidates are called for counseling, where the candidates will get their documents verified and complete admission processes including payment of fees.

7. Commencement of Classes: Starting from the stipulated date, classes will be held for the above-mentioned students admitted to the college based on its calendar.

Admission Process- Degree-wise

BA: The Bachelor of Arts program at SRK PG College accepts 280 seats. Admission to the BA program is typically made on merit-based selections from the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent).

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program has 210 seats. Admission to B.Com is also based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

BCA (Self-Finance): The Bachelor of Computer Applications will admit 60 candidates. Admission would presumably proceed on the basis of merit attained in the qualifying examination and with an emphasis on subjects such as mathematics and computer science.

BBA (Self-Finance): Bachelor of Business Administration would also admit 60 students. The admission process takes into account the performance in the qualifying examination.

B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education would admit 100 students. Other than the foreign student admissions, B.Ed admission is granted based on a combination of merit obtained in the qualifying examination as well as an entrance test conducted. The college may also consider any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration as well as the university.

MA (Various Subjects): There are Master of Arts in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, History, and Psychology degrees offered through the college. All the above have around an intake of 60-70 seats. Generally, admission to MA is on the basis of merit of the qualifying bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.

M.Com: The Master of Commerce has 60 seats. The basis for selection is possibly the B.Com or an equivalent degree.

College is good for every students.

I have studied in BBA in SRK PG college firozabad. The teachers are very good and perfect in their subjects. The teachers and director have good Behaviour towards students. The campus is huge and lot of space and having a big ground for any gaming activities.

Good college but have no placement support.

I am studying BCA and the teacher are quite good and responsible. All have different teacher for subject . Subjects are interested and willing to have more interest in studies. All subjects are important and necessary for me
