Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Com programs: B.Com programs with specializations in Finance, Banking and Insurance, Cooperation and Computer Applications are offered in St. Aloysius College. Admission will be through merit, based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying 10+2 examination. B.Com Finance has an intake of 60 seats and B.Com Banking and Insurance, B.Com Cooperation and B.Com Computer Applications has an intake of 40 seats each.
BA Programs: The college offers BA programs in Economics, English and Multimedia. Admission for BA Economics strictly follows the merit criterion with an intake of 60 seats. For BA English (Unaided) and BA Multimedia (Unaided) the college has 24 seats each. Selection is done on the basis of qualifying examination marks.
B.Sc Programs: The B.Sc courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Psychology and Botany are offered at St. Aloysius College. Admission to these programs is based on merit. The intake of students varies in different specializations: 30 seats in each of B.Sc Mathematics, Physics and Zoology; and 24 seats for B.Sc Psychology and Botany. The admission procedure for B.Sc Chemistry follows similar merit-based criteria.
BBA Programs: The college offers BBA in Finance and Human Resource Management. Both these programs are unaided with a merit-based admission process. For BBA Finance, 40 seats are available, and for BBA Human Resource Management, 30 seats.
B.Voc Programs: St. Aloysius College offers B.Voc in Jewellery Designing, Gemmology, and Nursery and Ornamental Fish Farming, with each program giving intake of 50 seats assigned through merit.
MA Programs: St. Aloysius offers MA programs in Economics and English. The admission for MA programs is based on marks obtained in the relevant bachelor's degree. Intake is 15 seats for MA Economics and 10 seats for MA English.
M.Sc Programs: St. Aloysius College offers M.Sc in Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Statistics. The admission in all the programs is on an unaided basis and follows a merit admission system with each M.Sc program offering 12 seats for admission.
M.Com: The college has an M.Com program in Financial Management (Unaided) with the admission capacity of 20 on a merit basis.
