St. Ann's College of Pharmacy, Vizianagaram, is a popular college that awards undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy degrees. The college approved by the Pharmacy Council of India has a systematic admission process for the selection of deserving candidates for its various courses.
Admission to St. Ann's College of Pharmacy is entirely through entry exams. The admission into B.Pharma is on the basis of scores of the AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) and counseling. Admissions to the M.Pharma program are conducted on the basis of GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or AP PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) and counseling conducted by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).
Application Process
The process of applying to St. Ann's College of Pharmacy varies according to the course:
For B.Pharma:
1. Register and sit for the AP EAPCET exam.
2. Qualify the examination with the required cutoff score.
3. Visit the counseling process conducted by APSCHE.
4. Upon being allotted a seat, go to St. Ann's College of Pharmacy for document verification and admission process.
For M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Technology:
1. Sit for GPAT or AP PGECET exam.
2. Qualify the respective exam with the specified score.
3. Get yourself registered for counseling organized by APSCHE.
4. Participate in the counseling process and select St. Ann's College of Pharmacy if eligible.
5. Proceed with the admission process in the college by filling in the necessary documents and paying the fees.
For Management Quota seats in both programmes:
1. Approach the college directly for application process and seat availability under this quota.
2. Submit the required documents and application as instructed by the college.
3. Admission would be made according to the APSCHE rules for management quota seats.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: St. Ann's College of Pharmacy B.Pharma program has a sanctioned intake of 60 seats. Admission to this four-year undergraduate program is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the AP EAPCET examination, and then counseling is conducted by APSCHE. Some seats are also available under the Management Quota, which are allotted according to the guidelines of APSCHE.
M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Technology: This two-year postgraduate programme has approved intake of 15 seats. The admissions are conducted on the basis of either GPAT ranks or AP PGECET rank by counseling through APSCHE. Similar to the B.Pharma course, a few seats are available under Management Quota and filled according to APSCHE rules.
