St John College, Dimapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college constantly updates library books and digital services to support the students. The library has more than 3000 books. All students are given access to online journals and eBooks. 

The college has engaged in indoor and outdoor sports throughout the year with each house competing amongst itself. The college has four houses dedicated to the natural Naga landmarks. The houses are Intanki, Dzukou, Shilloi and Milak. They also conduct Annual Sports days to encourage positive sportsmanship. On campus, they have football pitches, basketball courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, and indoor games provisions.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college science laboratories are stocked with sufficient modern equipment including computers to meet the needs of the prescribed syllabus.

The college has an AC hostel that has many amenities with separate beds, desks, chairs, and cupboards for each student. The hostel has a separate room for the study hall should the student choose to use it. The hostel is cleaned every day, maintained with high-standard furniture, and supported by a backup generator during power outages. They also, nurture the students with healthy food from the modern and hygienic kitchen. The biggest benefit of being in the hostel is the nurturing environment The college has carefully created for the grown adults. They foster the students not only to grow academically but also spiritually and to become responsible citizens of the community. they have regular prayer meetings and church services along with pastoral counseling available anytime.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college Alumni Association with a mandate to form stronger relationships between the college and the alumni. The association will organize events and activities both on and off campus, support current students, and work for the betterment of the college. The mission of the Association is to promote the Vision and Values of the College and to promote good relations between alumni, College Management, faculty, students, and other stakeholders.

The college also provides students with platforms to explore their interests and ideas through extracurricular activities that are regularly held throughout the year.
