Hi, hope you are doing great.

You have not specified about the course in which you want to take admission.
I will clear out for all the courses available there.

For taking admission in MBBS, you have to undergo NEET exam, and then it depends upon the cutoff of various categories and you can apply for the category you belong to following by the counselling round by KEA.

For taking admission in B.Sc paramedical courses like B.Sc (MLT), B.Sc(radiology), B.Sc (perfusion technology) etc. you can apply for the entrance exam taken by the Institute itself.

In diploma, you can just fulfill the eligibility criteria offered and can apply for it.

For specialisation in any field after MBBS you can apply for NEET PG and meet the cutoff score for taking admission in your desired field by attending the counseling rounds.

Hope it helps.

Best wishes

St. John's is a Private Medical College and not a Christian Minority College and so Candidates of other Faith who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are allotted a seat in St. John's through State Counselling can get admission in St. Johns. Like every other Private Medical College, St. Johns has Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota. If you belong to General Category, you will need nothing less than 550 for Govt. Quota seat and atleast 450-500 for a Management Quota seat. If you belong to Reserved Categories for Govt. Quota seats you will need atleast 500 and for Management Quota seat, you will need 400-450. This is based on previous years' data. Now cut offs change every year and are dependent on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no,of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For any guidance during counselling and admission, you can use our MBBS Companion: https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion

Hello,
The counselling for all these colleges is based on your NEET UG results.
The counselling for HIMSR is through deemed university counselling. It must be filled separately on the same site as all India counselling and you must enter your preferences.
For st John's and kims Bangalore counselling is through KEA. You must apply for the state counselling under open category and you will have to enter your preferences and you will be eligible for private seats.
CMC Vellore has their own counselling you must fill their admission form once your NEET results are out and counselling forms are uploaded.
All these applications start after completion of NEET exam in May.

Hi,

Service bond is the bond taken at the time of admission in the pg courses. Bond status in Karnataka is 3 years or 50 lakhs.

It means a candidate who enrolled to pg courses in Karnataka will have to serve after pg in Karnataka for 5 year if he doesn't do that he have to pay 50 lakhs rupees.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

It is a bond signed at the time of pg admission to medical colleges of a particular state.

If you sign a post pg rural bond status then According to the bond you have to give your service for that state for a perticular period of time. If you failed to pay your services then you have to pay the penalty for that.

The time period of service bond may vary from 1year to five years depending on state.

If you do not like to do the service then you have to pay the penalty upto 50 lakhs depending on the state.

Hope it helps.

Hello,
St. Johns has reservation for various categories of Christians but does not have any SC reservation. So, you will be considered as general quota candidate for St. Johns Institute of Medical Sciences.
According to 2019 cutoff the cutoff in open category was 6490 and for people with Karnataka domicile it was
32,860. Based on this it seems difficult for you to get in St Johns but you can get in BMC and Ramaiah.
St John's is a private college and has no government seats. The total fees of the course is 23.63lakhs.
