Amount

Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship

These scholarship applications are for 3rd-year junior members of the college.

Scholarships are offered based on nominations from the departments and also through open interviews.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance in university exams, achievement in sports and extracurricular activities, and participation in college clubs or societies.

DU Scholarship

To avail DU Scholarships, candidates need to register in the Delhi University portal.

Pandit Hazari Lal Prize

This prize is given to a student of the college in his/her graduating year based on performance in the last two years of his/her studies in college.

Rs 30,000

Bawa Balwant Singh Bhalla Award

This award is for III-year junior members of the college. This award is also offered based on the performance of a candidate in academics, attendance in lectures, tutorials and practicals, contribution to the social service league, sports, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Neerja Malhotra Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for a junior member of the college with good moral values and who has represented the college during the year in games, especially basketball, preferably female.

Aditya Saikia Memorial Annual Award

This scholarship is only for 3rd-year junior members of the Economics (Hons.) course.

Candidates' performance in the university examinations. (Past semester marksheet to be attached).

Professor Vijay Kapur Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for 1st and 2nd year visually challenged junior members of the college.

This scholarship is offered based on candidates’ performance in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Performance of candidates in university exams.

The income limit for applying to the scholarship is Rs 5,00,000.

Max India, D S Babu Memorial and Purushotham Ghai Memorial Scholarships

Max India Scholarship: This scholarship is for one male student and one female student. 

Max India Scholarship is for resident junior members from disadvantaged backgrounds.

D S Babu Memorial Scholarship (Need cum Merit): Participation in academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.

Good academic record.

Annual family income should be below Rs 6,00,000.

Purushotham Ghai Memorial Scholarship: Resident junior members from 2nd year on the basis of academic achievements.

Participation in sports and extracurricular activities.

Annual family income below should be below Rs 6,00,000.

Once awarded, the scholarship will continue to be given in the third year on the basis of an annual review of the candidate’s academic performance. 

Singapore Stephanian Merit Cum Need Scholarships

This scholarship is for 1st-year junior members of the college. 

The scholarship is offered based on candidates’ academic performance, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.

Candidates’ performance in school/university exam results. 

The income limit for applying to the scholarship is Rs 5,00,000.

Professor Ranjit Bhatia Sports Scholarship

Candidates must excel in any given sport and pursue the same in the college.

Should have a good academic record.

Candidates must complete his/her first year in college.

SC Bhargava Memorial Need Cum Merit Scholarship 

Students pursuing 1st and 2nd-year B.Sc (Hons) Physics and B.Sc programme can avail of this scholarship.

Rs 40,000 per annum

Avinder Singh Brar Memorial Initiatives Awards

This scholarship is for the 1st and 2nd-year undergraduate or M.A. (previous) junior members of the college.

Rs 5,000 each for individual 

Jai Kaur and Surjan Singh Sikka scholarships 

This scholarship is only for non-resident students (undergraduate and postgraduate).

Performance in the university examinations. 

Regularity in work as reflected in the attendance in lectures, tutorials and practicals (nobody below 80% shall be considered).

Achievements in sports and/or extracurricular activities. 

Annual family income below Rs 6,00,000.

Needy students will be given preference.

MaKeki Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is only for junior members from the state of Manipur.

Performance in the university examinations.

Evidence of Regularity in work as reflected in the attendance in lectures, tutorials and practicals (nobody below 80% shall be considered).

Achievements in sports and/or extracurricular activities.

Participation in college, clubs or societies.

Lt.Gen. Bijeta Chaudhuri Memorial Award and Kesar Devi Memorial Award

Lt.Gen. Bijeta Chaudhuri Memorial Award: This scholarship is for 2nd and 3rd-year students with a good academic record.

Contributions to social causes (participation in college SSL activities).

Annual Family Income below Rs 6,00,000.

Kesar Devi Memorial Award: For science students, with at least 85% marks in the last university examination.

For Humanities students, at least 60% marks in the last university examination.

Active participation in sports/games, dramatics, social service, debates/declamations in one of the college societies.

Preference is given to those belonging to a weaker economic group.

Sumitomo Scholarships

This scholarship is for 1st-year junior members whose aggregate for all subjects is between 95 and 100.

Any significant achievement on account of extracurricular activities/sports at the school level. 

The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs 5,00,000. 

Rs 30,000/- each 

College Bursaries

This scholarship is for undergraduate and postgraduate junior members (across years and disciplines). 

The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 6,00,000.

Participation in events, and other activities organised by the college.
