Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Com: At Sterling College the intake is duly approved for B.Com at 240 seats, and admissions will be centrally governed by the University of Mumbai. Candidates who pass 10 + 2 Commerce or equivalent course are eligible. The selection for the course goes by the usual merit list which is prepared by the university.
B.Com Accounting and Finance: This specialized B.Com program has 120 seats. The admission process is just like the general B.Com program, and centralized admissions are taken by the University of Mumbai. Those students with a good background in accounting and finance during their 10+2 studies would be at an advantage.
BMS: It admits 120 students to this course. The admissions are centralized for the University of Mumbai, and, like most other courses conducted by the university, the candidate usually needs to have completed 10+2 from any stream. The process is usually based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
MCom Advanced Accounting: An approved intake capacity of 60 seats for two years. Students are admitted by direct admission at the declared scheduled time of University of Mumbai. A bachelor degree in Commerce with a related background is eligible. The selection criterion may be subject to the performances of the bachelor's studies done by the respective candidate and whatever criteria are announced by the respective university.
