General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

a)The candidate should pass 10+2 in English and must have obtained a minimum of 40 % at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible for state open schools recognized by the state government and the National Institute of open school (NIOS) recognized by the central government, However, science is preferable. 

b) 10+2 with English having 40 % of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. 

c) 10+2 with English having 40 % of Marks in Vocational Stream-Health care science from a recognized CBSE Board/state/center. 

d) Registered ANM with a pass mark from the state Nursing registration council.
