Swathi College of Pharmacy, Venkatachalam Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Swathi College of Pharmacy, Venkatachalam, has an elaborate admission process for different pharmacy courses. The admission process aims to choose apt candidates for its wide array of pharmacy courses like undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.

For UG courses such as B.Pharma and D.Pharma, the minimum age is 16 years and there is no maximum age limit. The admissions to the Pharm.D course are done through the AP EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). Admissions to postgraduate courses, including M.Pharma courses, are made through GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) marks for 70% of seats and the remaining 30% seats are filled on the basis of AP PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) ranks.

Application Process

The application process at Swathi College of Pharmacy is different for different programs:

1. For B.Pharma and D.Pharma:

• Candidates should be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Submit application through appropriate state-level or national-level entrance examination.
• Fill in the application form and submit documents.
• Pay as per the fee decided by the college.

2. For Pharm.D:

• Apply and sit for the AP EAMCET exam.
• Get enrolled for the web-based counseling procedure.
• Upload required certificates for verification.
• Remit the processing fee for registration.
• Exercise the option according to the schedule.

3. In the case of M.Pharma programs:

• Attend GPAT or AP PGECET exams.
• Get registered in the counseling process that is held by the state government.
• Select the preferred specialty and college through web counseling.
• Furnish documents, as needed, and remit the required fees.

4. In the case of Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate:

• Fill up and submit the application form along with B.Pharma degree certificates.
• Attach any other documents or test scores as demanded by the college.

Degree wise Admission Procedure

B.Pharma: Bachelor of Pharmacy course in Swathi College of Pharmacy has an approved strength of 100 students. The candidate should be at least 16 years of age as on the date of commencement of admission. The admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the concerned entrance examination and marks secured by him/her in his/her previous academic records.

D.Pharma: The intake for the Diploma in Pharmacy course is 60 students. Just like B.Pharma, the candidates must have attained 16 years of age. The admission is based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination as well as the relevant entrance test.

Pharm.D: Admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy course is mainly through AP EAMCET. Candidates have to undergo the web-based counseling process. The college cross-verifies the certificates of the shortlisted candidates, and those who are content with their data can go for the option exercise according to the schedule.

Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: This is provided to candidates who already possess their B.Pharma degree. Admission could be based on consideration of the candidate's B.Pharma performance and/or applicable entrance exam scores.

M.Pharma (Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutics): 70% of the seats are filled with GPAT ranks, and 30% are filled with AP PGECET ranks. The state government organizes PGECET once a year in May/June. The admissions are conducted by web counseling, wherein students can opt for their specialization and college according to their rank.

General documents that must be furnished for all courses are:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
• Entrance exam score cards (GPAT/PGECET/EAMCET as applicable)
