Tagore Public Law College, Jaipur Admission Process

Tagore Public Law College Jaipur, India, was recognized as affiliated and recognized by the Bar Council of India. The motto of the institution is to develop future legal professions. The admission dates are nowhere specified, but the admission processes of law courses are pretty laid back. The college is located in the Shekhupur area right next to the dental college on National Highway 8, Jaipur, Rajasthan. 

Admission Process

1. Notification: The commencement of admission will be informed to the candidates via notification putting on the official website and media notice.

2. Application form: Candidates are required to fill in the application form either online from the college website or by getting a printed copy at the college campus itself.

3. Document Submission: Candidates will have to submit the application form along with requisite documents most probably:

  • Mark sheets of qualifying examination (10th, 12th, and graduation)
  • Birth Certificate or 10th Certificate proof of age
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • Entrance scorecard, if required

4. Application Fee: The application fee may have to be paid; its amount and mode of payment will be notified to the candidates by the college.

6. Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on academic performance of all candidates, entrance test's performance (wherever applicable), and interview performance.

Admission Process Degree wise :

The LLB (Bachelor of Laws): This is the primary program offered by Tagore Public Law College. The LLB course is full time and runs for three years with emphasis on providing students with well-rounded knowledge on different aspects of law. The college has a sanctioned intake of 180 seats for the LLB program, thus making it a hot cake for wannabe lawyers.

Eligibility for the LLB program usually needs the following:

  1. A bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university
  2. Minimum percentages required under the Bar Council of India and the affiliated university
  3. Age limit as per the regulation prescribed by concerned authorities

Though the college does not mention any entrance exam, it might be that the candidates need to appear in a law entrance exam either conducted by the university it is affiliated to or by the state.
