The College has a well-equipped section of the gymnasium for those interested in exercise and bodybuilding.

The College is a fully Computerized Library equipped with well-stocked volumes of textbooks, reference books, automated CDs & periodicals spanning the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines. The entire collection of books is readily available to students & teachers either for current reading in the library or for a home issue at the circulation counter. The library also provides a book bank facility for needy students with a collection of more than 25000 books as well as subscribers to all major newspapers, periodicals, publication national and international journals. Various kinds of reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries, and almanacs are available to students. This immense reservoir of information and learning is a source of constant value addition to the students and faculty as well.

The College has An adjacent playground that provides facilities for outdoor games. The Institute is fully equipped to train students in almost all disciplines in sports and games i.e. Athletics, a modern gymnasium, lush green pool table, Table Annual Sports Meet Tennis, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Chess&Carrom. The best possible facilities in terms of modern equipment, spacious playfields, and expert coaching staff provide the students with every opportunity to excel in sports and games. The Institute has also obtained membership in the Inter Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association ( IEDSSA) to encourage promising students with opportunities to prove their mettle in sports by winning prizes in various inter-collegiate sports tournaments. The institute also organizes an “Annual Sports Meet" named as "Aventura" to promote indoor & outdoor sports among students.

The College also has an indoor Coffee Café Day cafeteria. The cafeteria serves hot and cold beverages and some snack items that also have a large LCD displaying knowledge-enhancing channels like Discovery. This space is mostly used by the students to brainstorm their projects.

The College has an air-conditioned Auditorium equipped with a high-end projection facility, PA Sound System, etc. The interior atmosphere significantly enhances the passive cooling and ventilation that surround the auditorium and provides the audience with a rejuvenating feeling. This massive Hall is characterized by eye-catching architecture. This hall can accommodate more than 250 people.

The College has a spacious student co-operative store that meets the basic requirements of stationeries as well as a photocopy on the institute premises.

The College believes in keeping abreast of the latest educational facilities, to promote active and visual learning among students. Keeping this very factor in mind, we have geared up with air-conditioned smart classrooms laced with projectors, audio-video systems, and whiteboards. All the application-based subjects are taught with the help of PowerPoint presentations and other audio-visual teaching aids. These smart classrooms also help students to give their presentations.

The College has an Alumni Association. The association possesses a large pool of talented individuals, who have made a name for themselves in diverse spheres. Business entrepreneurs, social leaders, professionals, etc.

The College has NSS for Students. The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a scheme specially made for social causes. The motto of NSS “NOT ME BUT YOU”, reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. The philosophy of the NSS is well emphasized in this motto, which underlines the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole. Therefore, the NSS volunteers shall strive for the well-being of the society. Thakur Polytechnic established the NSS unit in 2009 with 50 members and continued to enroll 50 members every year. It is one of the rarest diploma colleges in Maharashtra having approval of the NSS unit [NSS No. MH 09B45].

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities.
