Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Technical Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Bachelor's Degree Course in Education (B.Ed. (Non-semester)) provided that he/she should have passed the Bachelor's Degree Course in any one of the subjects listed below as a major under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern or a PG Degree Course in any one of the subjects listed below as major under 10+2+5 or 11+1+5 pattern of study.
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Part – III (Main + Allied) of the Bachelor's degree or Master's degree course. {A minimum of 45% marks for OBC, MBC, and Physically Challenged candidates and 40% marks for SC and ST candidates}.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
