TIPER Meerut Admission Process

The Translam Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (TIPER) one of the famous institutes in Meerut that offer a number of pharmacy programs at the under-graduate and post-graduate levels. In this context, the admission process of the institute is well regulated to select worthy candidates for various pharmacy programs. The admission cycle for TIPER generally commences during months leading up to the academic session, which starts from around August-September. The institute admits via various entrance tests, depending on the program. Admissions for undergraduate programs are primarily based on the U.P. State Entrance Examination (U.P.S.E.E.) that is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), followed by the Translam Entrance Examination (TEE) that is conducted by Translam Group.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) scores are considered as the primary criterion for post-graduate admissions to TIPER. However, those without a GPAT score would be considered in the admission process but would be given least priority. Graduates holding diploma certificates also have provision for lateral entry into the B.Pharma Program. Basic eligibility includes completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for undergraduate programs. For postgraduate programs, applicants are required to have graduated from a recognized university with a B.Pharma degree.

Application Process

The application process for TIPER varies from one program to another:

  3. Candidates must qualify in these examinations according to the cutoff criteria.
  4. Candidates should fill out an application to TIPER via the process of counseling or as instructed by the institute.
  5. If selected, candidates have to complete the admission process, that includes document verification and payment of fees.

For M.Pharma:

  1. Candidates must appear for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
  2. Candidates should apply directly to TIPER against their GPAT score and B.Pharma degree certificate.
  3. Candidates without GPAT (score) can also apply but they will be counted after the candidates with GPAT.
  4. Candidates should attend counseling or should appear for interviews if called upon by the institute.
  5. Candidates, if selected, have to take admission with documentation and payment of fees.

For D.Pharma:

  1. Admission to D.Pharma is as set forth by the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.
  2. Candidates should follow the application process set by TIPER.
  3. Admission processes should be completed if selected.

For B.Pharma Lateral Entry:
