The Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (URICM), Gandhinagar, is a registered autonomous institution for cooperative management education, approved by the AICTE. The institute's admission procedure aims at selecting the most suitable candidates to undergo the PG Program in Agriculture Business Management. Admission in URICM is based on competition, with a purpose of selecting a very diverse yet talented lot of students by taking the scores from various management aptitude tests on a national level.
URICM admission usually takes place with the academic calendar, commencing around August-September. The candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree course from a recognized university to be eligible for admission. You are free to apply on the basis of GMAT or GRE scores, fetching the reach of the institute into the global arena.
Selection is very competitive since the number of students being inducted is a meager six per PGDM program in Agriculture Business Management. Degree Wise Admission Process
PGDM Agriculture Business Management: The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Agriculture Business Management is the flagship program of URICM. It is a two-year full-time program aimed at imparting specialized skills and knowledge to students in the field of agricultural business. The admission process is as follows:
1. Candidates are required to take any of the accepted entrance examinations: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA.
2. For international applicants, GMAT or GRE scores are also accepted.
3. The institute admits no more than 60 students per year into this program.
4. Selection is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam and any other criteria that may be set forth by the institute.
5. The program is designed to equip students with a solid agricultural business management foundation, leading to responsible positions in this sector.
