USICT Delhi Admission Process

University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi offers admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. At the UG level, USICT Delhi offers admission in 6 years Integrated B.Tech plus M.Tech programme in various disciplines. At the PG level, University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi offers admission in M.Tech and MCA programmes. Admission in undergraduate programmes at University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi is made on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in JEE- Main Paper 1. To take admission in the MCA programme at USICT Delhi, NIMCET/CET/CUET and for the admission in the M.Tech programmes at USICT Delhi, the candidates should have a valid GATE/CET/CUET scores, however there is no CET for admission in the Weekend M.Tech programmes at University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi.

USICT Delhi B.Tech+M.Tech Course Selection Process

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Candidates must appear in the JEE- Mains Paper 1.
Candidates must apply for admission in University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi through its official website.
Candidates must appear in the counselling process.
Candidates must get their documents verified and must pay the fees.

USICT Delhi M.Tech/MCA Courses Admissions 2024

University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi admission in the M.Tech programme in various disciplines at postgraduate level and to take admission in the M.Tech programme, the candidates should have a valid GATE score. If the seats remain vacant after GATE counselling, the University will consider the admission on the basis of CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET. There is no need to appear in the CET if the candidates want to take admission in the M.Tech weekend programmes. Similarly, USICT Delhi offers admission in the MCA programme at the PG level and admission in the MCA programme at University School of Information Communication and Technology, Delhi is made on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in NIMCET. If the seats remain vacant after NIMCET counselling, the University will consider the admission through the CET scores of the candidates and if the seats still remain vacant, then the CUET scores of the candidates will be considered for admission in the MCA programme.

For lateral entry- BCA/ B.Sc IT, CS with mathematics at 10+2 or University level with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
M.Tech Information Technology	25	Candidates should have B.Tech./ B.E. in CS/ CSE/ IT/ Computer Engineering/ ECE/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ EE/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks.
M.Tech Computer Science Engineering	20
M.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering Weekend	20	Candidates must have BE/ B.Tech/ AMIE or equivalent qualification in ECE/ EEE/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering or EE. OR Must have M.Sc (Electronics/ Physics with specialisation in Electronics/ Solid State) with at least 60% aggregate marks.
M.Tech Information Technology Weekend	20	Candidates should have passed bachelor’s degree examinations in a relevant field and should have a minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational or government, autonomous organisations in the relevant field in which admission is sought by the candidate.
M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Weekend	20	Candidates must have B.Tech/ B.E/ AMIE or an equivalent degree in CS/ IT/ Computer Engineering/ Software Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks. OR Must have M.Sc.(CS/ Informatics) or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Or Must have MCA/ MCA Software Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks.
M.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering	18	Candidates should have passed B.Tech./ BE. in CS/ CSE/ IT/ CE/ ECE/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ EE/ EEE with at least 60% aggregate marks

Academics are fine and teachers are good. Teachers take regular classes and address your doubts. The curriculum followed is still old. So if you want to be job-ready, then you just can not solely depend on college studies, you also need to work on your skills.

Academics

For B.tech, there are only three specialization available viz. CSE, IT and ECE. All the teachers are highly experienced. They are very punctual, always come on time and take lectures regularly. They are also supportive. Also there is strict checking of answer sheets in the semester examination.

Academics

Good faculty. Curriculum is in process of updation and new labs are being added. Currently very less labs are functional and curriculum is not updated . Academic culture is not good due to poor efforts from teachers .

No, University School of Information Communication and Technology, Dekho does not offer B.Tech Lateral Entry or normal B.Tech.

Usict (IP university college) provide dual degree btech course, so if I want to leave college after btech then they will provide aicte approved degree? And company visit for placement in college btech student student can also sit Or only Mtech student in USICT delhi?

Hello student,

The norma regarding tc and placement are different for each colleges and universities. It would be better if you agree to those instructions and act accordingly.

If you are leaving your college after you complete B.tech and want a certificate for the same , then you will surely get it as per college norms.

But you will not be getting placement opportunities as your's is dual course and you will get it only if you complete the M.tech also.

However you can request your department heads or any other college authorities to know more about the Placements criteria.

Do usict delhi accept category rank like josaa or not?

hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that USIT delhi has seat matrix distributed for the following category :
85 percent of the seats are reserved for delhi students

15 percent of the seats are reserved for non-delhi students

In above two categories ,further their are divided into general ,scheduled castes ,obc ,scheduled tribes and economically weaker section
