Utkal Institute of Engineering Technology offers a range of facilities to create a good learning environment for the benefit of the students. UIET Bhubaneshwar Facilities include amenities that improve the quality of the learning imparted there such as well-equipped classrooms with LCD and audiovisual technology, a computerized library, and computer labs with internet access. The college boys’ hostel is located near the college campus. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, self-contained, and duly maintained. It also has a unique telecom facility for incoming calls only. There are, however, a set of rules and regulations that have to be strictly adhered to. The hostel has a bed, table, chair and electrical fittings with a 24-hour water supply Several newspapers, as well as magazines, are subscribed and TV is also provided to get them relaxed during leisure and also to get themselves updated. The Computer Centre and Library are kept open for residents of the hostel.

The College Library is equipped with Library Automation Software. A source of unlimited knowledge and information for students ever enthusiastic about learning is inside the library, with space to accommodate many students at the same time. A powerhouse in itself, it is the place most frequented by students. The College has a well-stocked, library with a vast collection of more than 10000 text Books as well as reference books written by well-known Indian & foreign authors on Engineering and other subjects, reference books, CDs. More than 500 titles of text are available in the library apart from that 20 periodicals (journals & magazines) are subscribed regularly in order to keep pace with information on the latest developments in the world. The library provides computerized information as per the requirements.
- Sports
The college Sports is the best way to provide good health and physical fit for everyone. For this purpose the College built up a Sports Complex, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities for the students and staff members. A large playground is ready on the campus for Basketball, Football, Hockey, Cricket, and other Indian games. The Institute provides a coaching facility for the above games. A beautiful swimming pool is under construction for offing to cater to the needs of the students.
- I.T Infrastructure
The College has advanced internet Lab with advanced technology set up. It has a LAN network with over forty terminals. The college has 24 hours of leased line 10mbps internet connectivity of BSNL. All the technical departments are networked with LAN/WAN connecting all the labs, staff rooms and the library. The Network Operations Centre is equipped with IBM server. Ample computing facilities are provided linking each student with a PC. There are more than 200 computers with the latest configuration in all the labs.
- Cafeteria
The College has a well-furnished neat and clean canteen with two times breakfast, Lunch & Dinner facilities for the students and staff members. The Institute provides hygienic food for the students and staff.
- Auditorium
The college has more than 200 seated air-conditioned auditoria is built upon about 10000 sq. feet area. College plans to host various conferences, seminars, and workshops in the auditorium. In these days of fierce competition, professionals need to be good at a variety of skills like public speaking, presentation, argument, and debate, etc. conduct human life development programs like music & drama, dance and other cultural activities the Institute always feel the improvement the skill of student and staff members and developed all the infrastructure as per the requirements.
