Valia Chhaganlal Laljibahai College of Commerce and Valia Lilavantiben Chhaganlal College of Arts, Mumbai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Alumni association is in the process of being formally registered and once the process is complete the Alumni will play a more participative role in college activities.

The college has a very good collection of books including textbooks, reference books, periodicals, and journals. The total number of books at present is 20000 (Aided and Self-finance) and the college subscribes to 20 journals and newspapers. The library is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days. The different subject sections are well displayed and every student is encouraged to make the best use of the library and reading room. The library is equipped with an internet facility. The reading room has a seating capacity of 300 with separate arrangements for faculty and internet browsing. The college has an agreement with the British Council and the American Library for the issue of books, and reference books for staff and students.

Electronics Laboratory

The College has a well-equipped Electronics & Telecommunication Laboratory having CRO, Digital Multimeter, Electronic Telecom Kits, and Microprocessor Kits.

English Language Laboratory

The college has a separate English Language Laboratory installed with Wordsworth English Language learning software

Digital Laboratory

The college has a digital laboratory with 30 computers and an internet facility with 50 MBPS broadband connectivity

The college has a panel of doctors on call in case of emergencies and a health center with all First Aid facilities.

The College has two Computer Laboratories with 120 computers and an internet facility with 50 MBPS broadband connectivity. The College has a separate laboratory for M.Sc.(I.T.) with 20 computers.

Students and Staff can avail of a well-equipped Gymnasium, with a full-time instructor. The Gymnasium is open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The college has a focus on the holistic development of students and has for the last 20 years a well-maintained playground measuring 13,344.32 sq. ft. Students utilize the ground extensively for outdoor games and activities. 

The college has at its disposal two Auditoriums –

Sheth D P Barfiwala Auditorium - a large and spacious auditorium with a seating capacity of 800

Smt. Jyotsna Harshad Valia Conference Hall - Mini Auditorium with a seating capacity of 200v

The college canteen is situated on the ground floor and is open from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working days.
