Vardhman Shiksha Shastri TT College, Sikar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college offers hostel facilities to the students in one of the three hostels located on the campus that is meant for all students of the Somaiya Group of institutions. The first floor of the hostel is exclusively reserved for women and it has a separate entrance

The college ensures the all-round development of the student viz. the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical dimensions. The college provides a good facility for developing the physical aspect of the personality along with the academic inputs.

The college has a library that is a vast ocean of knowledge interspersed with different pearls of well-stocked books, Educational Journals, Videocassettes, and CDs. Our library is stocked with 6000 books. To supplement this knowledge our library has a depository of 14 journals, 322 videocassettes, and 23 CDs including Encyclopedia Britannica and 110 years of National Geographic Journal, and new pearls in the form of new books are added frequently. Provision of online access to the EBSCO research database through campus subscription is provided in order to facilitate the addition of new knowledge. Along with this, the library offers services of interlibrary loans to avail the rich reservoir of knowledge from other libraries.

The college organizes activities for indoor and outdoor games such as table tennis, carom, chess, volleyball, throw ball, etc. The students also participate in games like shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, etc during Sports Day.

The college has opened up the windows to knowledge by setting up a well-equipped computer laboratory which assists us in keeping pace with the current changing roles of the teacher in this technology-driven educational scenario. The college has a full-fledged computer laboratory with LAN and 24-hour uninterrupted Internet connection. The laboratory is equipped with a Scanner, a CD writer, and other equipment which are effectively utilized by the faculty as well as students to make their teaching-learning process and research effective. Open access to online research-based journals is provided to the students to equip them with the skills to conduct research.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college optimally utilizes the Psychology Laboratory which has various standardized intelligence tests, aptitude, creativity tests, and also interest, adjustment, and personality inventories which prove to be beneficial to the MEd and the Ph.D. students in their endeavors related to psychological constructs. In addition to this, the institute is equipped with the requisite types of equipment required for conducting the various psychology experiments for BEd students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
