Hi Leena,

Definitely, you can get a good college at this percentile.

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of the first round of CAP Process on the following link.

Https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff (For all rounds)

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, L-Ladies, TFWS, etc), category

(Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc).

It would be easy if you go according to the marks obtained to look for cutoffs.

Best of Luck!

Hello Ganesh,

Also, the cutoffs vary for all branches.

Best of Luck!

Hi Rahul,

According to previous year cutoff trends, you are unlikely to get admission with this rank. Last year, admissions to COEP and VJTI for Production Engineering closed at ranks of around 9000 and 14000 respectively in round 4 for the SC category. These are general ranks that I am referring to. However, cutoffs may vary this year. To be on the safer side, do look for other college options.

All the best!

Hey Srikanth! You can get Electronics in SPIT according to your MHTCET score. Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) is an engineering college in India. It is located in Andheri a suburb of Mumbai. It is affiliated to Mumbai University and offers graduate (Bachelor), post-graduate (Master) and doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in Engineering. The institute is located in 47 acres of green campus at Andheri (W), the fastest growing suburb of Mumbai. The campus also houses four Bhavan’s Institutions of great repute namely Bhavan’s College (the arts, commerce and science college), Sardar Patel College of Engineering – Government aided Engineering college, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, a management institute.

VJIT production engineering is good branch and I think you will get admission in your category. For open seats it is difficult to get admission.

Hello Aspirant,

Based on 2018 cut off rank trends considering your rank you may get seat in

  • Sardar patel Institute of science and technology, Mumbai. As the cut off in 2018 was 37227
  • KJSCE, as the cut off was 5283
  • Fr. Conceicao rodrigues college od engineering.

Among the colleges you have mentioned you have chances of getting the above colleges. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

I hope this is helpful.

All the best!

Hey !

You can get admission in VJTI college of mumbai through JEE Marks as well as MHTCET marks. It is a government aided institute and so , it does not have any private exam on its own.

Every year , the college ireleases its cutoffs for both the exams. You can get admission in VJTI by satisfying the cutoffs decided by this college through CAP counselling.

To know more about VJTI , follow the given link :

Hope it helps!

Hi Gaurav,

There is NO special cutoff for the EWS section in MHT CET counseling.

Rather, the cutoff which is allocated to the General/Open category is used for the EWS category as well.

Both categories are allocated the same cutoff.

Based on 2018 cutoff of COEP and VJTI for General/Open category candidates, you can definitely get the following branches this year-

1. VJTI, Mumbai-

  • All branches except Computer Engineering and IT

2. COEP, Pune-

  • All branches except Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering

You can check the MHT CET 2018 cutoff for all the colleges from the given link-

Hello Harsh,

If you belong to any of the reserved categories then your category rank will be considered for admission.

If you have the certificate to prove that you belong to the reserved category then your category rank will be considered for selection.

However if you do not have the certificate of proof then your state rank will considered, i.e., you will be considered a student of the general category for admission.

You need to present these relevant certificates at the time of document verification.

Hope this helps.
