VEL Teacher Training Institute was set up in 2007.VEL Teacher Training Institute is one of the famous institute located at Dindigul at Tamil Nadu. VEL Teacher Training Institute currently offers one primary course: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course commonly known as T-T.C. This programme is a two-year full time programme whose primary aim is to produce professional teachers in the field of elementary education. Students enrolled herein course has an approved intake to be 50 students and offer specialised preparation in teaching techniques, child development and educational philosophies. The fact that the designated institute offers only one type of programme is to guarantee that the graduates are capable of doing a good job in the teaching field once they are trained because of deeper understanding and practice.
