Velaga Nageswara Rao College of Engineering (VNRCE) is situated in Ponnur, and it provides both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of engineering and management. The VNRCE admission system is meant to identify and promote meritorious and talented candidates for its different courses. Such admissions are mainly based on merit, with different entrance tests for different programs.
Admission to B.Tech courses is on the basis of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, otherwise known as AP EAMCET. It is a state-level examination that assesses the caliber of candidates in their subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Postgraduate admissions would include the M. Tech based on the scores of Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).
Application Process
For B.Tech programs:
1. Any applicant should appear for the AP EAMCET Examination.
2. Thereafter, the selected shall take part in the state-level counseling process.
3. During the counseling process, the selected candidate should opt for VNRCE and the desired courses.
4. In case seat allotment is made, they are to report to VNRCE for verification of documents and complete admission formalities.
For M.Tech programs:
1. The applicants will have to take the AP PGECET examination.
2. They will have to apply through the state-level counseling process, to commence after the announcement of results.
3. Select VNRCE and desired M.Tech specialization in counseling.
4. If allotted a seat, the applicant will be to VNRCE to complete admission formalities.
For the MBA program:
1. Candidates have to appear for the AP ICET examination.
2. They will also take part in the state-level counseling process afterward.
3. During the counseling, they will choose the MBA program of VNRCE.
4. If selected, they will be reporting to VNRCE for further admission process.
For Diploma programs:
1. AP POLYCET (if applicable).
2. Applications are made under the prescribed admission procedure for diploma programs.
3. Select VNRCE and preferred diploma course.
4. Complete admission formalities at the college if selected.
Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Tech: B.Tech programs at VNRCE include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. These programs are admitted mainly through AP EAMCET ranks. VNRCE has an authorized intake of 120 seats each for CSE and ECE, 60 seats for AI and ML, and 30 seats each for some other B.Tech programs.
M.Tech: The Master of Technology programs offered include Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Structural Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Machine Design. Different combinations of the AP PGECET score along with possible additional tests and/or interviews will be used for selection into the courses. Specializations will have varied strengths ranging from 18 to 30.
MBA: The program having 180 seats at VNRCE is under Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET). Candidates shortlisted would have to undergo other processes of selection that may be devised by the college.
Diploma: The college offers its diploma programs under various engineering disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission to these programs might depend on AP POLYCET scores. The intake for DCE is 180 seats, while other diploma programs range from 30-60 seats.

You have got 131228 rank in ap eamcet and belong to sc catergory. With the mentioned rank it is difficult to get information technology branch. It is very difficult to get the course with this rank even though you have sc reservation .
