Merit-based merit by the marks of student obtained in qualifying examination. Admission test scores will be taken in consideration both the post-graduation course as well as PhD program will consider based on their performance of the interview process too.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.A. Marathi Medium: B.A. offered by this college in Marathi medium with 460 total intake, which is also based on the marks obtained by a student in 10+2 examination subjects relevant to arts disciplines.

M.A. Home Economics (Marathi Medium) This is a postgraduate course in Marathi language. For admission to this course, a graduate degree in Home Economics or an equivalent is considered. During admission, marks of graduation level are considered.

M.A. Marathi: The college offers a course in Master of Arts in Marathi. One should have bachelor's degree with Marathi as one of the subjects. Undergraduate marks, and also interviews, may form the basis of selection.

Ph.D. English: Seats in Ph.D. English are 6. The candidate must have a Master's degree in English with minimum percentage defined in the guidelines of the university. Admission will be through entrance test and/or interview.

Ph.D. Marathi: Just like the PhD in English, this course has 6 seats. Candidates applying for this should have a postgraduate degree in Marathi. The selection must be done on the basis of entrance test/interview to examine the research skills of the applicant.
