Vidya Bhawan Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Siwan Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library is very rich in terms of quality and the number of books. There are more than 3896 books in the college library. According to the demands of the departments, the library committee recommends the purchase of books and journals on a regular basis. There is a small reading room for the students and the teachers in the library.

The college campus has a playground for sports and outdoor games. We are developing outdoor sports facilities on the campus. A large hall (110 x 60 x 41 ft) for indoor sports facilities is under construction with financial assistance from UGC. We have submitted a proposal for financial, for the establishment of a language laboratory to the HRD Department, Govt. of Bihar.

The college is now well equipped with sufficient computers and internet facilities. Most of the departments have their own computers with internet connectivity. Our college has 20 computers, 1 Laptop, 2 printers, 1 scanner, 2 Xerox machine, and 1 Fax machine, 1 TV. Smartboards are available in the Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry Departments.

The college had first aid boxes that have been kept in the Laboratories, Office, Departments, and Staffroom for an emergency. There are 4 clinics of doctors around the college campus and they are always ready to provide their services to our students. They attend the students within 10-15 minutes even on a telephonic call.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
