This coeducational college is an affiliated college recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education of Karnataka situated in the city of Bangalore. Vijaya Teachers College is located in a small area of 0.61776 acres and has a student-centred environment where prospective teachers can learn. The college’s overall enrollment has been 180 students and the faculty side is comprised of 13 professional teachers. Due to its focus on quality provision of education, the institute provides two degree programs in the field of education at both under graduate and post graduate levels.

Vijaya Teachers College offers two full-time courses: a basic degree in education known as the Bachelors in Education (B. Ed) and an advanced degree in education known as the Masters in Education (M. Ed). The two programs are structured to take two years to complete the course work and finalize the program. B Ed program has been approved for 100 admission and M Ed program has 50 seat intake. These courses are designed to give the students a broad and extensive knowledge as to the principles of education, approaches to teaching, and skills for teaching in classroom settings.
