Vikash Polytechnic, Bargarh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Health Center facilities are available within the campus to meet any unfortunate event of any students falling sick. Regular health check-ups are conducted periodically for all students and staff.

The college has students who are keen on a daily workout, a sophisticated gymnasium is provided with a number of the latest single and multi-stationed machines, treadmills, and other weight-training accessories in the boys' and girls' block separately on the campus. Yoga and meditation classes are conducted every day in the morning, under expert guidance.

The College has a well-stocked Central Library- Media Center containing a huge collection of textbooks, e-journals, periodicals, reference materials, and magazines. To make available large research resources to students and faculty, the institution has subscribed to several Indian and International Journals and Publications. The digital library contains CD ROMs, directories, industry reports, and statistical compilations that provide timely and concise information for project works.

The College Sports and athletics offer our young women technocrats several awareness to become physically, mentally, and spiritually fit. VIT believes in sporting excellence and has introduced various avenues of sports providing basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletics, kabaddi tournaments, etc. 

The College has computer labs with more than 400 latest systems. The laboratories are provided with software such as C, C++, Oracle, Visual Studio 6.0, Java, VB Script, JAVA Script, MatLab, Case tools, and multimedia software.

The College's well-designed Auditorium at college can organise many spectacular events. It is the venue for major events, festivals, and so on.

The college has its own buses and small vehicles which are available for outings and Industrial visits. The Institute also provides transportation facilities for the convenience of staff and students to take them from Bargarh to the campus and back. Apart from this public transport services such as buses, jeeps & hiring tempos are also available with minimum cost for commuting between Bargarh and the campus. 

This College has well-equipped laboratories, which include the Basic Electronics Lab, Analog Electronic Circuits, Digital and Integrated Circuits Labs, Communication, Fiber Optic, and Microwave Engineering Labs, Signal Processing and controls Lab, and Microprocessor, Interfaces, and Projects Lab. The students are introduced to the latest developments in various fields of Signal Processing, Communications, Digital Systems, and VLSI Design.

The College girls find the hostel near NH-6 to be fully secured and protected with guards on 24-hour duty. There are large rooms in the hostel and the residential feel assures the complete safety of the students. Large playgrounds adjacent to the hostel invite students to spend time in games and sports and make the environment more pleasant. There is a regular hostel and dining facilities along with freshwater supply from the aqua-guard. Vikash Polytechnic, Bargarh canteen serves students good quality food at reasonable rates. There are a varied range of snacks and meals to choose from and students, staff and faculty can enjoy wholesome food.

Vikash Polytechnic, Bargarh has a Guest House on its campus to accommodate examiners and parents of the students.

There is a separate area for parking vehicles at Vikash Polytechnic, Bargarh. Students can use the area to park their vehicles.
