Infrastructure is good with facilities such as laboratories, libraries , sports center, one hostel for boys. The campus is clean and hygienic food is available . Libraries have a collection of books available. A technologically adapt campus . A campus wide wireless computing network is also available.
The college curriculum is in pace with the industry. Apart from online classes we are given hands on training to make us industry ready. We also have weekly programmes for advanced learning apart from curriculum.
Mass recruiting as wellll as dream companies both visit our college for recruitment . The average salary offered is around 4lpa . Also new branch has recently started (Ai & ds) which is going to offer placements in the data analytics domain.
My course costs around 1.7lpa and I think the college is worth it. We are getting what we are paying for it .There are various workshops and training provided apart from the regular college curriculum.
The campus life is fun at VIIT. The students are very diverse which makes the college life even better as we get to know about varied perspective. The environment is very friendly and cheerful. The teachers are also good
The college is perfect for academics and extracurricular activities. The faculty is very educated and helpful. One can get admiission in this college through Mhtcet or JEE. The college is up to date with the curriculum.
It's pathetic tbh, Considering the number of students who study in the college, the number of equipment is far less than required. Also there's no sport infrastructure. Will not be in the future too, cause no space :(
Yes, autonomy has allowed to college to allow the college to set the papers by themselves. But then CGPA is overrated here. Academics, is something which can be improved according to industry standards.
Unfortunately, there are almost no placements for Mechanical Engineering. Yes, some good companies which offer a good pay come to the college by end up getting one or no student. Academics matter!!! Can be better, wrt to crowd.
So, considering the fees for Open category its an "Ok Ok" category for Value-for-money. If we go to the category fees, it's just amazing. The category fees are as low as 4K per year, 16K for your engineering. So 16K to 5LPA avg package is just mind-blowing. Rest you can assume?
As I said, the number of students is tremendous. And for a 2 acre campus, around 2K students is just too congested. Can't give the campus life category any more stars, tbh 1 is also too much :( jjjjjj
An Ok-Ok Bet. If you are from Pune/Maharashtra, don't really have an option, then go for this. After all this is the 4th Top College in Pune.
Yes our college have well maintained laboratory but only thing we have laptop not desktop. Canteen have food hygiene. Also we have ethernet cable not wifi in labs also sports center has all most all sports. Library is quite good.
Yes our curriculum is updated . We have updated curriculum according to industry. We have syballus according to industry experts. Syballus is overall development not only technical but non technical aspects as well.
Placement of last year was good. 80-90% students were placed. Highest package of nvidia 34 lac . Avg salary is of 6 lpa. College is much supportive in startup business. Also they are supportive If you get internship thorough off campus.
Slightly agree. Since 164k in a year is not feasible to pay.
Campus is small but we have very good exposure, location is good yes it is safe and it can handle emergency. Also staff is supporting.
The college usually has the equipment required for academics and more but when it comes to extra curriculars it falls short. The living spaces are usually well reviewed with a multitude of alternatives for students to select if they find that to be convinient.
The college is known for being academically well reputed. The field of AI ,I've chosen follows the footsteps of the circuit branches that come before it and the college does cover the basics of the subjects it is built on
From tales of seniors, the quality of the placements is pretty good provided the vivas and such proceed smoothly,no idea of the range of salaries offered.Ideally most students are in the shortlist. With the AI branch being pretty new,it is hard to predict how the placements will go.
The value of the course will directly depend on your compatibility with the course and how you think it will play out in the future for you.Being in the AI course has so far been an experience, very closely intertwined with the likes of the computer science course.
The crowd that comes with the college is usually pretty progressive and friendly, the campus has a relatively mediocre amount of greenery so hot summers won't be unbearable, pretty clean roads but an excess of speed breakers if you're trying to get inside.
A lot of things would determine your experience with the college, the commute, the branch, your involvement with the college, etc but if you put in the work it can be a pretty fun experience while you're there,in no small part because of the friends you make along the way.
College Infrastructure VIIT Pune consists of 4 buildings, 2 canteens, 1 lawn, and 1 ground. The college campus is not too big but is sufficient. The departments are distributed in various buildings. The campus also has a gym and a library. Wi-Fi is also available. The classrooms and labs are very spacious.
Being an autonomous college, the college has structured the syllabus with an industry point of view. The courses taught are really useful with respect to the industry. The exam focuses more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Practical exams have more weightage than theoretical exams
Due to the academics, students are industry-ready. Also, many big companies visit the college and provide good packages to the students. Many companies from every field come to the campus and take the students with their necessary requirement
I think the course cost per year is value for money. The academics, facilities provided by the college are worth every single rupee. The kind of education provided is of very high quality.
The college life is really amazing. There are multiple clubs and event bodies present in the college which are really good and also helps in your development in other fields other than academics. The teachers and staff are very helpful.
Yes all the necessary infrastructure like washroom, drinking water, canteen , library etc are present. Yes, all these facilities are well used (but could be better) and well maintained too. Yes , cleanliness and hygiene is taken proper care.
I'm pursuing BTech in computer science, to attain a job with a minimum package of 8lac/annum. Quality of teaching is okay. I would give it 3 stars out of 5. Yes the curriculum is updated, teaching could be better. Yes, what i study makes me job ready, but still i have to go through more study material/ guidance/ othrr courses etc
Placements have been minimal in my opinion, average salary package is low, could be better. Percentage of student placement is high. Around 90-95% who sit for campus placements get placed. Highest salary package was of 26lac/annum. I am still pursuing my graduation, I haven't sat in the campus placements, so , irrelevant question for me.
1.70 lac /annum. Literally. I hate the fees. Not worth the fees i will give you that. It's simply tooo much fees for a general category student like me. Other category students are paying considerably less fees.
Best- canteen i guess. I haven't explored much. I have got no friends. Worst- no shelter. During the day, the sun almost burns up my head. A lot of activities to engage. I haven't engaged in any of them by the way. Students, teachers and staff are kind/helpful in a general way. Yes, the location is safe but feels more like a slum area in my opinion. Yes, emergencies can be handled
I guess i am too bored and lonely and have way too much free time. Wish i had 1 or 2 cool friends. Yash Agarwal ( who referred me this review portal) is a good person. For real.
College Infrastructure is not the best, but certainly great. We have workshops and important machines like Lathe, CNC, milling machine, etc. Classrooms have projectors, clean classrooms and an healthy atmosphere.
SPPU is one of the best Public Universities in India and is quite famous for Engineering. Our college does great with mini projects and presentations which help us develop confidence and make us Job-ready.
Famous MNCs like Atlas Copco, Ansys, etc. Offer On-Campus Placements. You can always apply for OFF campus placements. Our college comes under Vishwakarma Institutes, so we sit for placements with VIT, Pune. So definitely, the chances of placements is great !!!
The fees of our college is around 1,60,000 which I think is reasonable for middle class students in an autonomous college. Plus, the opportunities are really worth it. So definitely, this college offers more bang for buck than other colleges in Pune.
I would say pretty NORMAL. Similar people always end up being with each other. Studious people always end up with Studious people and party people with party people. So the students applying to the college can expect that they will find the people similar to them quite easily as many people come from different and unique backgrounds.
The infrastructure of college is excellent and big enough. It consists of different buildings for different streams. The college provides hostel facility for students outside pune. Wifi facility is also provided for extra knowledge.
Academic is not case of worries. The teaching facility is excellent. As college is autonomous the course curriculum is well updated. As curriculum is excellent it develops students job ready skills.the teachers are highly qualified.
Placements of the college is best in entire area. The placements provided opportunity to the lots of students . The highest package offered is 26 lac. The multinational companies like Nvidia, Pepal, TCS, Infosys, persistent and others come for placements.
Infrastructure is not all good but according to strength of people and fees it's fine like there are four buildings and there is no playground ,no as such sports activities like college are is 5 acres so you can understand accordingly
Yes academics are pretty well good here no as such high pressure from the faculties as you know this is a autonomous college they will teach you what is required by the industry. Overall it's quite chill
So the average package is around 6 -7lakhs per annum for computer science students which is considered to be decent enough as a start in the career and also it will match with the money you invest in this college
Yes i would say that the college is value for money as you are investing 1.6 lakhs per annum which is around 6.4 lakhs so the roi will be same yes it's value for money
Campus Life is poor
It's decent college
College infrastructure is overall good with separate building for all departments. All facilities are available like library, indoor games, canteen, cleanliness is good. Laboratories are also overall good
The teaching staff is overall good. Some faculties are really dedicated. The curriculum is also well updates with pune university, also the industry knowledge is given by conducting different types of sessions.
Cannot review much as I'm currently not in third year. But according to the past year placements overall were good with decent enough packages for the candidates. Many companies do visit the campus for placement.
The course cost around 1.5 lpa which is a bit more as the facilities available are not up to the mark and staff and management is not that cooperative. But overall a good college to opt for as the college has a good reputation.
