Provision stores are located in the hostel where students can buy essentials such as mattresses, pillows, buckets, mugs, locks, stationeries, books, soaps.

The medical needs of the students are taken care of by a fully equipped Health Centre on campus along with an ambulance facility.

At VIT-AP, we believe that sound mental and good physical health are crucial for holistic development. With a strong emphasis on the recreation of students, VIT-AP students, faculty, and staff are provided facilities that keep them active, spirited, involved, and healthy. Several intramural sports events are organized where students compete in cricket, badminton, volleyball, chess, etc. Apart from intramural sports, different colleges and universities also participate in our in-house Sports and Cultural fest VITopia.

From quick bites between classes to full meals, the cafeteria serves a wide array of good and hygienic food to all the members.

New VIT-AP buses are provided for the students. The buses are safe, secure, and driven by responsible personnel. Day scholars can avail of the bus facility from Vijayawada, Guntur, and Tenali.

The library is equipped with reading halls, a digital library, a reference hall, discussion rooms, and a newspaper section that seats four hundred students at a time. The entire library is centrally air-conditioned and is under the surveillance of CCTV. The Library is committed to the fulfillment of the academic curiosity of its users with Books (print and e-book), Journals (print and e-Journal), Magazines, Newspapers, CD’s and DVDs. The book transaction service of the library is completely automated with RFID based technology, self-check-out kiosk, self-check-in dropbox, and system-generated reminders. Library automation is done by the KOHA software. Security Sensor Gates or flap barriers are installed at the exit. The availability status of any book can be accessed by the user through the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) system. Digital library being an integral part of the library has 15 well-configured PCs for surfing the different web-based resources subscribed by the Library or from other open-access databases. There are three discussion rooms as a space for the student and faculty to have a discussion. The Library is a lifetime member of the NDL (National Digital Library) and therefore it also provides video lectures and web-based courses of NPTEL to its users through intranet
