Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering is a five-year full-time postgraduate Integrated program offered by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
The Qualifying Marks is relaxed by 10% i.e. 60% in PCM for applicants belong to SC/ ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura
Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply. Applicants belonging to SC/ST category should submit community certificate. Applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. They should submit Nativity Certificate.

Admission Details

Applications are processed in the order of merit, based on the aggregate of marks (rounded to 2 decimal points) secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the +2 / Higher Secondary & Intermediate Examination.

College Infrastructure

Yes, the basic facilities are available. Multiple buildings are still under construction. Rest all the facilities are up to mark. Laboratory facilities are good including the equipments and devices. All the facilities are well maintained.

One of the best engineering college in Chennai.

Our college is one of the best in infrastructure having auditorium, hostel well maintained and modern. Smart classrooms, laboratories fully furnished and equipped. We have got gym facility and sports grounds.
