66 MonthsBachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) is 5.5 years academic program containing the 4 and 1/2-year academic session and one-year internship program degree offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and approved by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first BHMS degree course.
- Candidates should have passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board in one and the same attempt in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks. (Improvement marks will not be considered) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
Admission Details
As per the decision of the Ministry of Ayush, Admission to the B.H.M.S course is based on the National eligibility entrance Test (NEET) conducted by an authority designated by the Central Government.
