Women’s Polytechnic Aizawl, founded in 1998, is one of the leading technical college situated at Durtlang, Aizawl, Mizoram. This affiliated college recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provide quality education in various technical stream. The institute occupies a small piece of land of 4.722 acres; the total strength of students is 191, and the faculty strength is 27. Women’s Polytechnic Aizawl offers four diploma courses, which are relevant for the current dynamic world market zone. Women’s Polytechnic, Aizawl provides a total of four full time diploma courses to meet the need of the different field of specialisation. The institute allow 120 students at any given point in time for all its courses offered by the institute. All of the courses include theories and features of the given discipline and practical experience necessary for further routines in a definite occupation. They include Beauty Culture and Cosmetology, Garments Technology, Electronics Telecommunication and Engineering, Modern Office Practice and Cosmetology.
