At XBS Kolkata placements, career counselling is provided to the students through various methods like grooming sessions by soft skill trainers, giving them opportunities to participate in various certification courses. Regular mentoring sessions are conducted by the faculties to address the various academic and non-academic concerns of the students for Xavier Business School placements. Before the students appear for any placement opportunity, a session is conducted to provide the necessary inputs related to the post as well as instill confidence in them.

According to the Xavier Business School placement report (2023), 100% of students were placed through campus placements. XBS Kolkata highest package was Rs 20 LPA, while the XBS Kolkata average package was Rs 12 LPA and the median salary was 8 LPA. Wipro, HCL, TCS, KPMG, Berger, Daikin, EY, and Deloitte, are some of the top recruiters. Xavier Business School, Kolkata conducts annual campus placements for its graduating students.

Placements

The quality of placement is good in our college . Last year around 95% are placed. Average salary is Rs. 8-9 Lakh/year for Marketing. For Finance it is around Rs.7.5 Lakhs/year and for HR it is Rs. 5-6 Lakh per annum. The placement team is very supportive.

Reputed and well-known companies have offered summer internship positions and final placements to students. Companies like PwC India, PwC SDC, Deloitte India, EY GDS, Dabur, Berger Paints, HDFC Bank and many other big organizations have recruited from our college. Highest salary this season have been 12 lacs and average 6.5 lacs. As a finance student, I dreamt of working in one of the big four and this institution have helped me to get me placed in my dream company.

Placements for the first batch of XBS has been fantastic. Almost 90% of the batch got placed by February 2020. More than 50 companies have participated in the placement process this year generating a total of 95 offers. Some of the top recruiters are - Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Ernst & Young, SREI, HDFC Bank, Dabur, Philips India Ltd, Goodricke Group Ltd, Berger Paints, Adani Wilmar, Godrej etc. Average Salary for the first batch has been 6.5LPA while the Highest Salary is 12LPA.

First of all congratulations for the percentile you have secured. Based on the percentile you have obtained you might have chances to get admission in Xavier Business School. Therefore you need not worry about it. But they also conduct XAT which will mainly be considered for the allocation of seats into the college.
