The YIT Mangalore placement cell plays a vital role in offering career services for its students. It focuses on grooming and shaping the students and making them industry-ready. Various training sessions for students by eminent trainers from the industry are conducted and workshops and seminars are held to enhance their skills. A total of 178 secured YIT placements on campus during the year 2022-2023.

The YIT campus has set up the Centre for Professional Skill Development and Training and the Centre for Advanced Computing which conduct various soft skill and technical training programmes to ensure the employability of students. The objective of the YIT placement cell is to improve students’ interpersonal skills and increase placement and retention rates in companies.
