Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Sillod is situated in the district of Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate courses running in this college is strictly given on merit. Generally, the admission in colleges occurs for the new session which begins from June-July. Candidates have to submit their application and other documents needed for the college with the respective deadline. 7. Authentication of documents: All original documents of the candidates furnished at the college level for getting admitted are checked for verification purpose.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.: The admission to undergraduate courses is strictly based on the marks scored in the 12th standard examination. The college provides different specializations under these courses. The applicant should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board.
M.A., M.Com., M.Sc.: For the Post Graduation programmes candidates must have appeared for a Bachelors's degree in respective subject. It is on merits of qualifying degrees. M. Sc programmes are offered for Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Botany, whereas MA programmes in political science, history, Hindi, English and economics.
Ph.D.: The college offers doctoral programs in Marathi, English, Hindi, Political Science, Commerce, Physics, Zoology, and Botany. Admission to the Ph.D. program is probably through a written test and/or interview based on the candidate's academic background in the relevant field.
