Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Narhe Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a modern, 100-student capacity hostel with excellent amenities and a mess facility has been provided for the girls. Students opting to stay in the hostel must book their room as soon as possible, as the allotment is on a first-come basis. The Zeal Group of Institutes takes care of cleanliness in the hostel, provides hygienic, comfortable surroundings for students, and accommodates about 100 students. Accommodation is a triple bedded room of approximately 300 square feet size having attached toilet/bathrooms, and a 24-hour hot water facility. Other important facilities like washing machines, and TV on the campus that ensure student and staff comfort are a canteen, STD/ISD facilities in a hostel, and a beautiful, well-maintained, environment-friendly green campus that provides a pleasant ambiance for study.

The college is having a total of 921.91 sqm spacious area for the Central Library. In the central library, we have different sections like; book stacking, periodicals, reference, PG Section, digital library with 10 nodes & well-ventilated reading hall with a capacity of 250+ students. All the books have been classified as per the Dewey decimal classification system. Transaction of books has been done by computerized barcode system through Autolib software.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college computer center has been established with extreme care and planning. There are more than 550 computers of configurations Intel Dual-Core at 3.0 GHz and 1 GB RAM each. All computers are connected to LAN. We have acquired all the software and software packages for the development of programmers required by the students. We have catered for one computer per student. the supply has been fully backed by UPS. Internet connectivity has been provided at 10 Mb/s through a Leased Line connection.

The College Canteen Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at the Zeal campus. A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean, and hygienic surroundings. Apart from the north and south Indian nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner, tea, coffee, and soft drinks along with snacks are also available. All the items are reasonably priced. A monthly Mess facility is also available for the students as well as staff members.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College is running bus services from different locations so that students hailing from any location within Pune will have a nearby pickup cum drop back to board the college bus to come to college and to go back home.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
