you can choose any of the career :
Hope It Helps you
All the best for your future
Dear Aspirant,
Congratulations for cracking the JEE main examination.
Now you can not understand, wheather to choose mechanical engineering or Electronics and communication engineering. Which branch is better...But you have interest in physics.
According to me, if you have hurry for a good job after completion of your b.tech and if you want a handsome package in campusing you can opt for Electronics and communication engineering.
But if you wants to apply your interest of physics in your graduation degree then you can opt for mechanical engineering. It is a core branch and one of the oldest branch of engineering.
But now campusing scope is lesser in mechanical engineering.
Now it depends on you. Go ahead.
So best of luck.

The main objective of this course is to make you a good "PROCESS ENGINEER, PLANT MANAGER, QUALITY INSPECTOR, PRODUCT DESGINER" with emphasis given on designing, operations, tooling
It's not same as that of Mechanical Engineering
Tough the 2nd year is somewhat similar but from third year the course becomes fully practical.
And in final year you have only 1 semester unlike mechanical and other branches where you have 2 semesters in your final year
One semester is for a 6 month long inplant training in an industry
And since many Mechanical engineering graduates are doing their masters in Industrial/production Engineering so this means that this branch has so much to offer.
