Postgraduate eligibility criteria
1. MSc in medical radio imaging technology requires graduation from a recognized university.
2. 10 and +2 qualification with physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology and BSc in Medical Radiography & Imaging Technology, or BSc in Applied Sciences is needed.
3. Admission to MD and MS in Radiology is made based upon the entrance exams, and candidates must have pursued MBBS marks and an internship as well.
Medical Imaging Entrance Examinations
All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Entrance Exam
The examination is conducted offline by AIIMS. Entrance is available both in English and Hindi. The final selection is made based on online counselling. This takes place after the results are announced. Usually, the examination takes place in October/November.
Bharath University Entrance Exams
The examination takes place at the end of April. Questions from English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are asked. There are no negative marks for any wrong answers. The examination is written for a total of 100 marks.
Kerala University Entrance Exam
Kerala University of Health Sciences offers courses based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. UG courses are offered if the candidates have a minimum pass percentile in 10 and 12 classes. PG courses are offered with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with 55% marks.
