Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Pharmaceutical Analysis
Eligibility criteria might differ according to institutes. However, some common and important criteria for Pharmaceutical Analysis are mentioned by all the institutes are as follows:
1. A candidate must pass his graduation with a minimum aggregate score of 50% from any recognized board/institute/university. This is the most common criteria for getting admission in the postgraduate course.
However, for reserved category students, the minimum qualifying marks is less.
2. Students must have studies some elective course in their graduation level, those are as follows
- Students with a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Biochemistry, or Microbiology are eligible to get admission in this course.
- A student with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Science is eligible for this course to study at the PG level.
- Students with a B.Phs./ BDS/ MBBS/ B.Pharm degree are also eligible for this particular course at the PG level.
Entrance exam for Pharmaceutical Analysis
For Postgraduate courses:
The entire process of admission for Pharmaceutical Analysis through respective entrance exams may be different and are strictly followed by the rules of the respective institute. Some institutes prefer common all India based entrance exams, some go for their entrance exam, and some may opt for the marks scored by the students in their graduation level.
1. GATE (The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
This is an all-India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and all the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
successfully qualifying this entrance exam along with a valid GATE score, students can get admission to different institutes all over India in several postgraduate courses along with Pharmaceutical Analysis. 2. GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test)
The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is an all‑India based exam, which is conducted every single year.

Hello!
In order to Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences, you meed to pass Masters in Pharmacy with at least 60 percent marks from a recognised University. You can get admission on the basis of entrance exams like CSIR, NET, SLET etc., followed by interview.
PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a three to five years course on researching science and the Pharma industry. Three research cores are drug action, delivery and discovery.
