Anybody can help me regarding admission in ignou for january sesssion 2020? Is exam conducted yearly or semster wise?

Hi,
Ignou- indra gandhi national open university is the one of the best distance learning institution in india.
The admission for January sessions are started the last date of which is 20 January.
University conducts Term-end Examination (TEE) twice a year in the months of June & December.
