Domicile certificate is issued to one if he has resided at a certain place in a state for a continuous period of preceding five years and the said wording is incorporated in the said residence certificate. Hence the validity should be considered for a period of Five years.

generally issued to prove that the person bearing the Certificate is a Domicile/Resident of the State/ UT. by which the Certificate is being issued.

Yes if your permanent address of family is in Gujarat and Have completed 10th from Gujarat Board and also born within Gujarat territory then you shall stand eligible for Domicile certificate of Gujarat.

Ok. So, not residing in Gujarat since from last 10 years should not be bottleneck, I hope. Is this understanding correct?
