Biochemistry is a good choice to pursue and also the faculties at Panjab University are excellent. You can make it a long term carrer if you can do M.SC. Or PhD from Panjab University or any other good university.

You need a rank till 500 and marks above 85% to get into Panjab University.

Eligibility Criteria : A candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Admission Process :

• The admission in Panjab University is based on the score obtained in Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PUCET).
• There are 34 seats in total for B.SC. In which 30 are reserved for General Category and 4 for NRI Quota.

Infrastructure is excellent at Panjab University. The Wi-Fi facility provided by the University is good, high speed and free for all the students. Library facility is great, all books with every edition related to biochemistry are available there. Sports and games facility provided are excellent and every year a intra-department sports competition is conducted by the Panjab University.

There is no industry exposure for the undergraduates at Panjab University. The course curriculum designed as such to be very useful.

Placements :

• No companies visit the campus.
• No internship projects at the undergraduate stage is held at the Panjab University.

It would be beneficial if you visit the department once before getting into there. You would come to know the pros and cons of the department and specially it's faculties. Though there a huge range of faculty members in terms of experience and achievement. They are highly qualified and use various methods to teach the students.
