No, just passing 11th and 12th is not enough for Punjab state quota.
This is because,
Only those who are bonafide residents of Punjab are eligible for Punjab 85% state quota .
However, following candidates are also eligible.
Those whose parent/s were working with the Central Govt. of India/ Punjab Govt./ or All India Services and now have tpassed away.
Those who are children/ dependents of Central Govt. Employees (now not alive) who were posted in Punjab for at least 2 years out of 3 immediately preceding the year of passing Class XII or equivalent, but were posted outside of Punjab for some time during this period.
Those born in Punjab and are children of late Defense/Para Military Personnel.
Those who are children of Defense Personnel and are posted in Punjab.
Those applying under the NRI quota are can also avail the state quota seats.
So, if you fulfill any of above criteria then also you will be eligible for Punjab State quota even if you are not domicile of Punjab .
