hi,sir or madam! After completing a diploma in mechanical engineering,can i do at BE in computer engineering,can i change a course or what,can i join through entrance exam like DCET?in karnataka, pls can u answer me a correct thing?

Yes, you can do BE in computer science engineering even though you have done mechanical engineering in diploma. Anyone can change to Computer science branch in Engineering.

DCET is an exam conducted in Karnataka for the students to take admission in engineering as lateral entry. Through DCET you can join in Engineering in computer science.

DCET helps you to join in Engineering  through counseling process. Or else you can join in Engineering in computer science in your preferred college through management quota.
