How to prepare study time table for physics in neet 2018 ?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)

NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
For sure physics is a bit difficult but solving it and giving more time to it and it will fall into place.
-
And if you are asking about time table then you should study physics first when you start studying that way you will be able to finish difficult subject earlier that too with full enthusiastic mood.
-
Rest remember the rule of 1 : 5 that is if you give 1 hour to concept building then give 5 hours to solve numericals.
hi sonika, as i told you in another query, preparing a timetable is all up to you, cos it varies with person to person, time availability, daily routines, ability etc, but do make sure to alternate with other subjects to make sure that you dont saturate just with, one subject, let me tell you how to prepare for neet
Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too
Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can, always stay calm , cool and confident, hope this helps good luck
And then do lots od mcqs .
It depends how much good you are in physics , according to that only you can prepare your time table . coz everyone makes time table according to the difficulty they feel in a particular subject
For instance i used to study physics for 4 hrs a day out of total 9 hrs because i was weak in it .
So you can change it accordingly
The proper way to study physics for NEET examination is to clear concepts- revision of formula-solving mcqs do follow this concept in studying physics if you do so I am Damn sure you score better in physics for the upcoming NEET examination. And listen solving mcqs is the core work of preparation of NEET examination.
Hi, As per your query about preparation of Physics for NEET UG entrance exam, I would like to suggest following tips
1.Make your own study plan and follow it properly with dedication and PATIENCE....
2. Devote most of time say 80 % in NEET preparation and 20 % in board exam preparation
3. Practice MCQS on daily basis
4. Correct your mistakes
Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.
KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books
BOOKS -
Concept of physics by H C Verma
Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep
Objective physics by DC Pandey
BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so dont go by all books mentioned here and there
Important topics which cover about 70 % , around 30 - 32 ques/ each year for last 10 years out of a total of 45 ques/year
Kinemetics
Rotational Motion
Gravitation
Thermal Physics
Wave Motion and Doppler's effect
ElectrostaticCurrent
Electricity & Effect of Current
Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism
Ray optics and Optical Instruments
Modern Physics
Semiconductors and Digital Electronics

1) Seek help from your mentors - you might have joined a coaching institution for the same. So why not make the most of it?
As soon as you get doubts, make it a point to get it clarified as soon as possible because it is these seemingly trivial doubts that cause a lot of trouble when the pile up in the end.
2) Practice and then practice some more - If your coaching institution provides you any practice material, do that first before you think of jumping onto some other reference book. I'm saying this because these materials are prepared after a thorough analysis of the trends of questions that have been asked in the recent past or are likely to be asked in the future examinations
If this is not the case, you can consider following any one of the books that I've mentioned below -
UNIVERSAL SELF-SCORER, ERROR LESS PHYSICS
(OR)
H.C VERMA FOR PHYSICS (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
(OR)
GRB PUBLICATIONS FOR PHYSICS
Also make it a point to solver the previous years papers for which you can follow -
MTG PUBLICATIONS
(OR)
ARIHANT PUBLICATIONS
3) Also make it a point to give some quality time to physics every day. Maintaining consistency in your efforts is very important during your preparation phase.
4) Have faith in your abilities because self confidence is a mandatory requirement not just in medicine but in every aspect of your life.
Physics as a subject is very conceptual and unless you are beginning preparation at least six months before it is very difficult to score well in NEET
Ideally I would advise you to be following a good textbook either in the form of SL Arora or HC Verma which help you developed clear concepts as well as introduce you to most of the formulae and their applications as per NCERT curriculum
Study material provided by Aakash or Allen are also handy in this regard
You should be paying more stress on the chapters of mechanics, optics, electromagnetism, current electricity and circuit diagrams involving resistance capacitance and inductance in modern physics
since these are the topics most heavily questioned upon
You could make your own notes as well as referred to the notes given by some institution your teachers
Ultimate Lee you'll have to start solving MCQs and preferably mock examinations where you have questions across physics chemistry and Biology covering all the chapters which will help you with your time management and question selection skills and minimise your negative marking and help you ensure the maximum marks from any MCQ examination paper and prepare you well for you Neet examination
Hope this helps, thank you
Time table depends on each person and vary according to their study methods, perception, etc.
And physics being a more difficult subject, time table becomes more difficult.
But don't worry. There are methods to do.
First make sure you are strong in all the basic concepts. Second go through the previous year questions and know the pattern. Third give mocks and assess yourself and plan accordingly. Fourth stick to the plan and prepare. Fifth, if you feel your preparation is not enough, increase the time for it.
All the best...
