According to me you should plan for professional degree in BA level as a plan B because if you are not able to clear the civil services exam than you can start your job accordingly
Options are like
Psychology
Sociology
Economics Hons
BALLB

UPSC offers you a wide variety of subjects to choose your optionals from, so first analyse your interests in various subjects and which ever subject you find interesting you can choose that as your specialisation subject in your B.A. but do not miss the current affairs start preparing from them as early as possible.
