i am from WB. at the time of Choice filling if I give Choice of private college and later if I am allocated seat at private college, is it mandatory to take admission. if I don't take admission will I be barred from participating in next round counseling
Hi. If by any chance you do not get the seat in the first round, you can register for the second round. Fortunately, old choices are not valid for the second round and you will have to fill and lock your fresh choices in the second round. This is manatory for everyone.
If you somehow get a seat and decide not to take it, the registration fees will not be refunded and you will have to register again (which means you will pay the fees again).
A better choice would be to take the private seat in the first round, request for upgradation, and then go for the second round by filling fresh choices (it is 100% possible to do so). By doing so, you do not risk a seat, and do not have to pay the registration fees again and again.
