I applied for MCA_NEW course drom IGNOU (Jan cycle). For various reasons i won't be able to submit my assignment or write exam for given semester. So will I be applying for new admission next cycle (July) or I have to take my 1st semester exams and assignment with 2nd semester whole course?

Hello,

First of all assignment submission for June Term End Exam has been extended till 31st May, if it's possible try to submit it else in next semester you'll have to go with updated assignment for first semester and new assignment for second semester, and you have to appear for all the papers of two semesters, make sure you complete your re-regustration in due time irrespective of the fact of the date of submission of assignments or term end exam cycles as failure to do so will result in lapse of six months.
