To apply for JEE Main you need a cast certificate from central government. You have to show original caste certificate at the time of counselling and admission.

You would need an obc ncl certificate for jee mains. If you belong to obc category but your family's income is greater than 8 lakhs then you would be considered as general, but if it is less then only you would get the reservation of obc ncl category. Therefore obc and obc ncl are different fron each other and you have to get an obc bcl certificate along with income certificate to prove that you belong to obc ncl.
